Enquiries

When you contact us by form or email, we process your names, email address, wedding date and wedding plans to respond and prepare a proposal. Phone number and venue are optional. Pre-contractual enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries under our legitimate interest in communication, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Messages are sent to our email inbox. Access is limited to the people at FACTORY16 responsible for handling the enquiry and the hosting and email processor named in the next section. The form cannot be submitted without names, an email address and a wedding date; we cannot reply without sufficient contact details.

Retention

Enquiry data is retained for as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry, then deleted unless statutory retention obligations or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims require further retention.

Hosting and form protection

Website and email are hosted in German data centres by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, proprietor René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. In this context, the provider processes technical connection data as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR, including the IP address, time and requested address. According to the provider’s published privacy information, web-server logs are deleted after no more than seven days; longer retention may be necessary in individual cases involving specific security incidents such as attacks. Secure operation and abuse prevention rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The form uses a necessary session cookie for a security token; this cookie is valid only for the current browser session. To limit automated or abusive enquiries, the IP address is processed solely in hashed form in a request counter. Entries in this counter are deleted after no more than one hour.

Self-hosted wedding film

The wedding film and its preview image are loaded directly from the same server as this website. Playing it does not connect to Vimeo or another external video service. Only the technical connection data described under “Hosting and form protection” therefore applies. This website does not persist the sound setting.

Cookie settings and Matomo analytics

Your choice between necessary technologies and optional analytics is stored locally in your browser for six months. We load Matomo from analytics.thomasschrempf.com only after your explicit consent. We operate the analytics installation ourselves on ALL-INKL.COM servers in Germany; data is not transferred to Matomo Cloud or advertising networks. The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021. We record page views, the domain of the referring website, device and browser characteristics, an IP address shortened by three bytes, approximate location, viewed sections and interactions with contact links, the gallery and wedding film. For the form, only “started” and “submit attempt” are recorded; field contents, names, email address, telephone number, date, venue and message are not sent to Matomo. After consent, Matomo sets the first-party cookies _pk_id for no more than six months, _pk_ses for about 30 minutes and, where applicable, _pk_ref for no more than six months. Raw data is automatically deleted after 90 days; aggregated reports are kept only for as long as required for statistical evaluation. Advertising profiles, user IDs and cross-device recognition are not used. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect through “Cookie settings”; existing Matomo cookies are deleted when you do so.

Locally hosted fonts

Fonts are served from the same server as this website. No connection to Google Fonts is made for this purpose.

No automated decisions

No automated decision-making, including profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR, takes place.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with future effect. You may also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at, dsb.gv.at.
